On Tuesday, 26th March, CRADLE hosted an Industry Engagement Day with Scintam Engineering, a spinout company from the University of Nottingham specialising in the development of novel EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) technology.
The day consisted of introductory talks and presentations, followed by a workshop session where cross-CRADLE work package teams came together to create ideas and concepts for innovative developments and deployments of this technology.
At the end of the session, a number of promising ideas were shortlisted for further consideration and development. Most importantly, this marked the start of another positive working relationship between CRADLE and a potential collaborator.
